My 25 year old sister seems to think Jo wrote Deathly Hallows while keeping in mind it would be turned into a movie, or two movies in this case, and wishes it was written better. That the book is more 'filmy' then previous books. What are your thoughts on the subject?

I disagree. I honestly think she had a lot of what happens in the last book planned from the very beginning, back before the franchise ever got huge. I mean, there is definitely two different vibes to the beginning and the end of the book, but that is necessary and I don't think she was doing it with the intention of it becoming two movies or writing it at all with the intention of it becoming a better film. I don't think that has ever been Rowling's focus, y'know?

Deathly Hallows is my favorite of all the books. I've never really thought about it that way..I don't think I agree. I was recently watching a story on her life. While she was writing Philosopher's Stone she said she also had the last chapter of Deathly Hallows completed (this was before the first book even had been published). So if we are going off of that then no, I don't think the book would have been written how it was so it could be turned into a movie.
