So the full interview between Emma and Jo came out today. Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 (talks about other stuff as well). It was turned into such a scandal before the release, but the interview is really just 2 people talking about what they thought of the books and the characters... What do you guys think?

I so hope JKR, Dan, Emma and Rupert will appear in a cameo in Fantastic Beasts ! And you're right, she doesn't regret Romione, they're just discussing the couple's future and how well it would work. But in the end she still sees them together. What a relief

J.K Rowling: "Oh, maybe she and Ron will be alright with a bit of counseling, you know. I wonder what happens at wizard marriage counseling? They’ll probably be fine. He needs to works on his self-esteem issues and she needs to work on being a little less critical."
That quote couldn't have made it in that first article? It makes such a huge difference! Or at least to me it does, because this new info allowed me to actually think deeper about Ron and Hermione's relationship, see what JKR meant, instead of just the knee-jerk reaction of anger/upset/shock/confusion/etc that first article had given me.
I could realistically see counseling being in Ron and Hermione's future - we like to think relationships are always perfect, but sometimes they're not, sometimes there are problems. For example, I could definitely see a scenario happening where Hermione becomes friends with a guy she works with and Ron becomes possessive/jealous/insecure, which causes complications between them - because those are real flaws in Ron's character. I could also see Hermione harping on Ron too often until finally, something snaps in Ron, leading to a big fight, because those are flaws in Hermione's character. I could definitely see counseling in their future.
They both have issues they need to work on and counseling could be what they need to work on it - and in the light of all this, I actually really, really like the idea of them going through counseling now, because to me it solidifies their relationship further, makes it even stronger than it was before. They had issues and they sought help for them and worked on them (and there's no doubt in my mind they'd work it out), and they're a stronger couple for it.
It could easily be canon, as well. I'm not sure how long they were married before Rose was born (is that info even available?), but let's say they were married at least a couple years prior. During that time (or even before, when they were just dating), they could've had problems and sought counseling, and worked it out long before Rose was born.
Headcanon officially accepted.
I still don't like the hint of Harmony at all though, therefore that will not be making it into my headcanons. Harry and Hermione's relationship will always be 100% platonic in my eyes.

Someone just wanted to stir the pot before the real article was released.
